Why should high purity sulfur hexafluoride fresh gas be accepted

Published on:2018-11-02 Click:150

The process of direct synthesis of elemental sulfur and elemental fluorine is widely used to produce sulfur hexafluoride at home and abroad. The crude SF6 product generally contains about 5% of S2F2, S2F10, SOF2, SO2F2, SO2, HF, CF4, O2, N2 and other 10 impurities, and the purity after purification can reach more than 99.9%. However, the high purity sulfur hexafluoride new gas may still cause quality problems due to purification process, filling and other factors, so it is necessary to check the SF6 new gas for acceptance, and then check whether the purchased products and quality are consistent with the factory report and purchase contract.

Each batch of high-purity sulfur hexafluoride delivered from the factory shall be attached with a quality certificate in a certain format, which shall mainly include the name of the manufacturer, product name, production batch number, cylinder number, net weight of gas, production date and applicable standard number. Users shall first ask the manufacturer for and check the factory report of the product.

High purity sulfur hexafluoride gas cylinders shall be painted, indicating the manufacturer's name, product name, batch number, cylinder number and product trademark. The paint color and words of gas cylinders shall conform to GB 7144-1999 Gas Cylinder Color Mark. Labels shall meet the requirements specified in GB 16804-1997.

The user shall check and accept the received industrial SF6 according to the standard, and the check and acceptance shall be carried out within one month from the date of arrival of the goods. The user shall sample the new high-purity sulfur hexafluoride gas cylinders according to the standard and send them to the unit with supervision and detection capability for quality sampling inspection.

If one of the indicators in the inspection results of Liming sulfur hexafluoride does not meet the requirements of GB/T 12022, it is necessary to re sample from twice the amount of packaging for re inspection. Even if only one index of the re inspection result does not meet the standard requirements, the whole batch of products is unqualified.
