As one of the important greenhouse gases,high purity sulfur hexafluoride is mainly used in electronic manufacturing,electrical equipment,metal smelting and atmospheric tracing.As an important consumption industry of sulfur hexafluoride,the use of sulfur hexafluoride gas has been basically stopped in the electronic manufacturing industry and atmospheric tracing industry in order to meet the requirements of environmental protection through research and technological improvement.

　　In metal smelting,the amount of high-purity sulfur hexafluoride has been substantially reduced through the use of gas mixtures,and improvements are ongoing.During operation,attention should be paid to the airtightness of the high-purity sulfur hexafluoride workshop and local exhaust air should be maintained.After special training,the operator can be on duty.During production and operation,the operator should strictly abide by the rules and try to wear a filter gas mask.

　　Attention should be paid to keep away from flammable and combustible materials.To prevent leakage of high purity sulfur hexafluoride into the air,care should be taken to avoid its contact with oxidants.When handling,light load and light discharge,prevent cylinder damage.

　　In addition,in storage,sulfur hexafluoride gas should be stored in a cool,ventilated warehouse,away from fire,heat source,warehouse to avoid high temperature,should not exceed 30℃.Do not store with inflammable materials and oxidants.
