What is the common sense of sulfur hexafluoride gas?
Sulfur hexafluoride is a colorless,odorless and non-toxic gas at normal temperature and pressure.Don't burn.Stable to heat and chemically inactive.In the red-hot state above 500℃does not decompose,800℃is very stable.Sulfur hexafluoride gas reacts with sodium metal at 250°C.
Non corrosive,can use general purpose materials,non corrosive glass.Sulfur hexafluoride gas electrical insulation performance and arc extinction performance is good,insulation is 2-3 times of air and the greater the gas pressure,the higher the insulation performance.
